Urban Shift: An ecosystem for innovation and sustainability
Urban Shift is a dynamic ecosystem shaped by the collaboration of three higher education institutions, WIFI International and four business partners from five countries.
In this Erasmus+ project, learners are supported in two training phases in key areas such as urban planning, environmental technology, media, and business.
Approach and objectives:
- Guidance of the seminars, training, and coaching sessions in the project by ten trainers and eight coaches
- A total of eight partners from five countries are working together over a period of three years.
- 80 leaners are being trained as part of the project.
- The aim is to establish ten start-ups.
- Development of prototypes (innovations) in the field of sustainability, in particular, on topics such as urban cooling and food waste as well as mobility and climate disasters.
- Urban Shift aims to make a significant contribution to solving some of the most pressing challenges of our time by promoting knowledge and innovative solutions in the fields of urban planning and environmental technology.
